Scholarly vs Popular Journals at YouTube

I like the idea of preparing short videos as explanatory guides. Here is one that we could use. But wouldn't it be better if we could start creating our own, or better still, get the students to create short videos as part of their learning and assessment processes?

Anyway, we need more creative ways to reach out to our learners - don't you think?

I think this is a fantastic idea and getting kids to do the videos makes sense. What a great way to really learn a process. There is a TeacherTube video on using Citation Machine (http://tinyurl.com/22yg43
- which I think i picked up from you Judy)I like, but you can see that it has a few specifics to the students of this teacher. How great to be able to get this specific. SmartBoard Notebook software has an easy to use recording function which makes this type of production very doable especially using TeacherTube or one of the other free storage sites.

Great idea would like to do one for Bibliographies. This is such a dry concept to teach maybe with some funky music I could catch their attention and hopefully their Bibliographies would be more than www.google.com
