Want to start a Wiki? Go Wet Paint today!

Want to start a Wiki? Then this recommendation from Di Laycock (Fully Booked) will appeal to you!

WetPaint seems to have that nice graphic appeal that our students want, as well as the functionality that we want for encouraging good Web 2.0 work!

Check out WetPaint details - then take a look at WikiFido to see how nice it can look!!

Looks good, but does it have the option not to carry advertising the way Wikispaces has? Can you create a private space? One of you experimenters 'out there' can let us know!

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your nice remarks regarding Wetpaint. We hope you and your students find the tool useful. With regard to your questions, we currently do not have a no-ads version of Wetpaint. Ads on Wetpaint are managed by Google and are contextually based on the content of the site. We've found this to be the best way to help us cover the cost of running Wetpaint. Regarding private spaces, that is also not possible on Wetpaint. You can limit who can contribute to your site but any page of the site is viewable by anyone that comes across it. If you have any further questions or suggestions, feel free to email me at kevin at wetpaint dot com.

Regards,

Kevin
