Bibliography maker - online

In keeping with the enthusiasm that students have using online tools to do things, then EasyBib just might be useful for you for an online activity. There is a free version, and students can actually create their whole bibliography. Unfortunately it only does MLA style - but still might be worth a spin. If you know of another source like this, just add a comment to let everyone know.

http://www.citationmachine.net is free and does MLA and APA (which is similar to Harvard). It is great for the range of resources it covers, as well as doing in-text citation. - Marita

I liked the simplicity for students to create their bibliographies. I will try it with my students as I agree they love online tools.

Joan has pointed out that the Citation Machine link isn't working. Don't know why - it is the right address. It does link correctly from the Landmark Project site:http://landmark-project.com/index.php (Or was a minute ago!) - Marita

Marita,
I noticed the same problem - then a day later it was fine. So I did get a look at it. I guess in this case persistence is all ;p)

It is a problem for us as there is a long-time accepted school bibliographic style based on Harvard. I guess we will have to stick to that.
